December 21st is the last Priority USPS day
December 21st is the last shipping day that USPS guarantees that their priority mail will arrive by Christmas. Please get your orders in early so we can get them out in time for you to have them for your holiday parties. Thank you!
Holiday Open House This Weekend
We're moving the soap racks to make room for our first ever holiday open house. Stop in this weekend to have a Christmas cookie (or two), see the goats, and browse through our workshop. We'll be offering all sorts of scents you've never seen before (and might never see again). We've also brought in our Amish neighbor's honey, my grandma's aprons and towels, my mother-in-law's infinity scarves, and my husband's aunt and uncle's paintings and wooden toys. Friday, 10AM - 5PM Saturday, 10AM - 5PM Sunday, 10AM - 3PM
The frost is coming!
NPR just reported that we should expect wide-spread frost tonight. As soon as the storms clear (boy is it rumbling out now!), I'll be heading to the pumpkin patch with the ATV in 4 wheel drive (to combat the mud) and our multipurpose people/hay/pumpkin/animal hauling cart. We have room in the barn now to protect the pumpkins from the frost but first I have to get them in the barn. The goats still eat frost damaged pumpkins, but the frost makes the pumpkins rot and squishy to handle (blech). Rain rain go away. I feel like I've been saying that...
Rural Arts Roadtrip
The leaves are touched with fall's color and the weather is predicted to be spectacular this weekend. We will be selling in New Holstein this weekend at the gorgeous fiber farm of Bleating Heart Haven. Friday and Saturday 9am-5pm. Sunday 10am-3pm. Food and Model A cars on site too.
We'll be everywhere this week!
You'll find us at the On Broadway Farmers Market in Green Bay on Wednesday, the Sheboygan and Port Washington farmers markets on Saturday the 17th, and Camp Forest's Fall Fest on Friday the 16th and Saturday the 17th in Forest Junction.
