Please be aware the United States Postal Service is raising its rates. Flat rate small boxes are going up from $7.90 to $8.30. Medium boxes are going up from $14.35 to $15.05. Large boxes are increasing from $19.85 to $21.10.
We understand no one like to pay for shipping these days, but we are unable to offer free shipping unless we significantly increase our products' prices. Large companies can offer lower or free shipping because the shipping companies give them discounts for bulk shipping.
Here's what we do to try to keep costs down. If we see you are local (MN, IL, WI) , we ship USPS regional rate and refund to you the amount we save.
We are fairly rural. The closest post office is 5 miles (which is actually also our closest town though they do have shorter window hours than our bigger cities). UPS and FedEx offices are a 20-30 minute drive one way.
